I’m excited to share my recent collaboration with Tiny Tablet and MHA on an inspiring project to enhance digital inclusion in residential care homes. We produced a video showing how integrating giant touchscreen tablets is transforming MHA’s care homes into vibrant, tech-forward environments. These devices, which also support virtual reality (VR), create new possibilities for engagement, learning, and connection.
Tiny Tablet units are large touchscreen systems designed to support digital activities across various sectors. These include care homes, corporate spaces, education, and industrial environments. Our creative direction emphasised how this technology redefines traditional care homes. Therefore, it creates a modern, lively atmosphere and shifts public perception to something more exciting and innovative.
Case Study
Moreover, a key message we wanted to convey is the significant impact of digital inclusion in combating loneliness and isolation. This project went beyond statistics. Instead, it highlighted how technology empowers individuals with self-direction, community connections, and a renewed sense of belonging. To illustrate this point, we contrasted scenes before and after technology integration, clearly showing how meaningful tech can transform everyday experiences into moments filled with joy, confidence, and engagement for residents.
Furthermore, we highlighted the broader implications of digital literacy and inclusion. Since technology is becoming integral to daily life, providing meaningful digital experiences is crucial. Not only does this improve residents’ quality of life, but it also enhances the relevance, performance, and appeal of care homes in a tech-driven world.
This project was very rewarding because we worked with passionate, caring people. It was a joy to see how this technology brought happiness to the residents. Ultimately, it was a celebration of human connections fostered by innovation and a demonstration of how forward-thinking solutions create happier, more connected communities.
